Enterprise Mobility and the new trends

Mobility

Many of the most talked about IT trends, such as the digital workforce experience or GenAI, are finding their way into the Enterprise Mobility space. Let’s see what the future holds.

Artificial Intelligence is the building block that builds a business from the inside, developing new capabilities for data processing, predictive analytics, automation, content production, securing IT infrastructure, and more. A decade ago, no one had imagined the influence of artificial intelligence on businesses. However, today, businesses are increasingly dependent on AI to improve efficiency, increase productivity, streamline workflows, improve customer experience, re-engineer products, and more.

Artificial Intelligence is an umbrella term used to define a number of individual technologies, such as NLP, LLM, genetic artificial intelligence (GenAI), machine learning and deep learning. Application development companies are leveraging AI to automate operations in order to achieve consistency, eliminate errors, reduce downtime, and troubleshoot malfunctions. By now, we all know what Siri and Alexa are. It is the most prominent example of Artificial Intelligence reaching every household. Customized AI solutions help businesses optimize productivity, simplify business processes, drive growth, and improve ROI.

Recently, GenAI has become a point of interest for many organizations, so it is no surprise that technology is moving into the Unified Endpoint Management (UEM) space. In addition, there has been a growing push to unify device and user management, not only in terms of moving the management of all operating systems under one roof, but also introducing third-party tools such as Digital Employee Experience (DEX).

For example, analysis tools appear as new features in UEM products. These include DEX tools that help IT teams understand how users are working with their devices and what areas of frustration can be fixed. They can help teams analyze the telemetry data collected by the UEM platforms. Automation capabilities and AI-based functions around anomaly detection and remediation are also emerging.

Another key trend underway is low-code automation. Low code is something that is often offered within the UEM platform. The differentiation in the UEM tools market occurs primarily in the breadth and depth of support for the vendor’s operating system, as well as their ability to accelerate and automate routine operations such as patching and configuration management.
